During the kiremt months of June to July, the kiremt rain benefiting areas was Normal to above normal rainfall has been observed in the areas. Additionally, in some places Heavy rain (greater than 30mm) that causes flash floods within 24 hours was occurred.
During the next two kiremt months (August to September) 2023 Most of the north-west, west, south-west and central part of the country Areas will have normal to above-normal rainfall, and a few areas of the southwest, northeast, east and southern highlands of the country are expected to receive rainfall close to normal.
